the house was bad.
it was a very small house, part of a row of houses [definite no to that],it's back garden was a little space of concrete with a wall around it,stood in the bedroom and was immediately overloaded by the noise from the tv of one of the men who live there [he is mostly deaf afterall].
they should have known putting together people on the complete opposite ends of the hearing spectrum is not going to work.
the manager said the road was a risk to am anyway as am not aware of danger.
she took am [in car] back to the institution, and had a meeting with the other managers, they said there are no other houses than the one am in that are on their own [no other houses attatched],they have mentioned possibility of going to live in one of their bungalow homes, which is being fixed up so people can move in-no one will be moving in till december at least,it would be with AB and SW whom am used to live with at the inst.-AB is LFA+NV+profoundly deaf [but not noisy]+severe ocd and SW is autistic and mute [but can speak]-they think am would be the most perfect person with them, but they think the road there is an even more major risk for am,so they are contacting the NAS to see if they have any suitable res.home places,if the SS say funding is possible [can't see why not].
on the way back, got a kfc.

visiting new house
the manager has sorted out a visit with am to check out a new res. home tomorrow [friday].
and it's official now, staff all know about it,didn't want them telling because some of them would be saying how great it is,how won't be suffering anymore..........but when they assume am not able to hear as they are further away, they will be saying to each other, how it is they and everyone who lives there that are the ones that suffer, not am".
if anything,it's not just to get away from that nasty bitch J. but the staff as well.
unfortunately,as it's the same service, they often share some of the same staff.
it's in urmston or flixton [can never tell where one stops and the other starts],and it's across/behind? from the institution am used to live in.
two other men live there, both are LD,one is deaf and over seventy, they said other is older man to,and they are both quiet.
am not sure about this house without even seeing it yet, because it's an area that has a lot of teenagers [am not being nasty to teenagers but am got a lot of abuse in the same area last time was there, and it's noiser],and looking on google maps,it looks like all the homes on the street have another home built onto them at the least-or are rows of houses-am need a house on it's own due to sensory problems, they and parents know this, but managers don't seem to listen, don't have to make any decisions about it though.
urmston/flixton is also a problem because parents would have to get public transport to get am every weekend and to bring back,it's not a problem with bus fare as they have pensioner passes but it is with reliability, and times, they had to bring am back when it was too early the last time lived down there.
it's a decent area, but isn't quiet enough,.....will see tomorrow what this home and road is like as not sure if have ever been down it before or not.
